The Much Hadham Cottage
Much Hadham, Hertfordshire
A thoughtfully layered bespoke kitchen for a historic Much Hadham property, where original cottage proportions meet a newly extended open-plan space. Three Little Greene paint tones - Invisible Green, Joanna and Linen Wash - create a rich yet harmonious palette that connects the home to its surrounding Hertfordshire countryside.
The design respects the cottage’s intimate scale while introducing contemporary function - a compact island with integrated seating, floor-to-ceiling pantry storage, and a bespoke chimney breast mantle framing the cooking zone. A coordinating utility room and boot room extend the palette of hand-painted cabinetry and aged brass hardware through the working areas of the home.
